Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our real estate operations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with an interest in commercial real estate, and is looking for a 1-2 day (8-10 hour) filler in their weekly work schedule (flexibility available)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and broader team
- Manage vendor and tenant communication and data entry
- Perform city correspondence and schedule calendar appointments
- Run errands including bank deposits and office supply runs
- Open and process incoming mail
- Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and digital)
- Use Yardi Breeze to support real estate administrative functions
- Conduct online research to identify property owners as acquisition leads
- Make outbound calls to prospective property owners to introduce company offerings
- Maintain organized records of calls, emails, and follow-up actions
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for the acquisitions team
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years in an office-based administrative role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Yardi HUGE PLUS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Experience in commercial real estate or a strong demonstrated interest is a plus
- Comfort and confidence in making outbound calls
Other Requirements
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Must be comfortable working onsite daily (no remote options)
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed
- Team player mentality – this is not a role for someone who wants to work in isolation
This position is perfect for the parent or college individual looking to fill 1-2 days of work a week (8-10 hours). Depending on business needs and growth there might be a possibility to increase to more hours/days.
