Job Summary
Under the general supervision of a certificated teacher and/or administrator, supports student instruction individually or in small groups at the elementary school level. Attend training and perform health care tasks related to toileting, diapering, personal hygiene, and other specialized health care procedures, as necessary. May be assigned to classrooms, reading labs, or special study centers. Relieves teachers of routine clerical tasks.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be NCLB/ESSA compliant through locally developed assessment or have 48 college units.
Minimum of six (6) units in Early Childhood Development or Child Development desired.
