Accountabilities
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Train the team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Certification in quality control is preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, quality control, or inspection role preferred.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges.High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Understanding of ISO standards, GMP, or other applicable quality systems is a plus.
