Role Description The Medical Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA. This position supports daily clinic operations by greeting patients, answering phones, managing check-in and check-out processes, and handling appointment scheduling. The Medical Office Assistant verifies insurance information, gathers and updates patient demographics, and accurately enters data into electronic medical records. The role also includes providing general administrative assistance to clinicians, preparing charts, managing correspondence, and coordinating follow-up visits or referrals. This team member helps maintain an organized, welcoming environment and ensures that patients receive efficient, respectful service.
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills for handling patient calls and inquiries.
