Responsibilities
- Lead Product Strategy: Drive the development, go-to-market strategy, and underwriting integration for proprietary insurance products.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with underwriters, insurance product managers, engineers, and designers to build scalable solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Orchestrate cross-functional projects and manage critical relationships with external carrier partners.
- Requirements Synthesis: Translate complex insurance regulations and non-technical requirements into precise technical specifications and a cohesive product roadmap.
- Execution & Visibility: Communicate development velocity, manage milestones, and provide transparent reporting on product health.
- Roadmap Prioritization: Sequence product initiatives based on ROI, technical feasibility, and corporate mandate.
- 5 years of experience in a technical product management role, specifically within the P&C insurance domain.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in launching complex, long-term projects and managing continuous iterative improvements.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to distill complex technical and insurance concepts for diverse audiences.
- Domain Expertise: Mastery of industry-specific terminology and concepts, including COIs, NKLLs, and Subrogation.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience partnering closely with engineering teams on technical architecture, including the ability to review and debug JSON.
- Agile Leadership: Deep expertise in Agile methodologies and modern software development lifecycles.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to drive alignment and influence senior leadership without formal authority.
