Job Title: Solutions Architect
Job Summary
The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing technology solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational goals. This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that software, infrastructure, and cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient. The position requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and document end-to-end architecture for software applications, cloud deployments, and infrastructure systems
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, platforms, and third-party services to meet business needs
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Guide development and engineering teams on best practices, coding standards, and system integration
- Assess technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and potential points of failure, and provide mitigation strategies
- Support cloud adoption, migrations, and hybrid environment integration (AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premises)
- Provide technical leadership during project planning, implementation, and deployment phases
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring
- Maintain documentation for architecture, workflows, and system dependencies
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve architecture practices
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years of experience in IT architecture, software engineering, or related roles
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise infrastructure
- Experience with software development, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of networking, databases, security, and system design principles
- Experience designing scalable, highly available, and resilient systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and IT governance
- Experience in data analytics, AI/ML solutions, or SaaS integrations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
