What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Controller position at Attolon Partners?
We have been engaged to assist our client, Philadelphia Foundation, in their search for a Controller. Founded in 1918, the Philadelphia Foundation strengthens economic, social, and civic vitality. It is a publicly supported foundation with close to $1B AUM, manages more than 1,000 charitable funds established by its donors, and makes thousands of grants and scholarship awards each year.
The Controller will be a hands-on financial leader of the Philadelphia Foundation’s accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions. Reporting to the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, the Controller has a highly visible role and will have extensive interaction with senior leadership.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business field; master’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience. CPA required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a major company, division of a corporation and/or a leading charitable or non-profit organization.
- Experience serving in senior finance leadership positions and comfortable partnering with business leaders; exhibits a polished and confident executive presence.
- Able to think and act strategically, and to build and execute strategies to address business needs and opportunities at an enterprise and department level
Salary : $165,000 - $185,000
