We have been engaged to assist our client, a medical device manufacturer, in its search for a Chief Financial Officer. The Company is entering a pivotal stage of growth following a capital investment that will support key strategic initiatives in preparation for an exit in the next 3–5 years. The Company is headquartered near Baltimore, MD.
The CFO will serve as a true business partner to the CEO, collaborating on strategic decision-making, providing timely and actionable insights, and helping steer the company through rapid expansion.
Requirements:
- 15 years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years as a CFO in an investor-backed company.
- Experience working with private equity ownership to achieve collective goals.
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing, CDMO, or medical device manufacturing sectors required. Deep understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain economics.
- Proven track record of leading companies through successful exits (M&A, IPO, or strategic sale).
- Strong background in contract management, especially in complex customer and supplier arrangements.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements with the ability to navigate the Company’s first audit.
- Executive presence: ability to function as a member of the management team, and to add value to the organization beyond the financial arena.
Salary : $275,000 - $300,000
