Attleboro Enterprises, Inc. (AEI) serves the residential and day program needs of adult individuals with developmental disabilities and vocational rehabilitative needs in Southeastern, MA; and we are dedicated to enhancing the lives and opportunities of those we serve.
We are now hiring for an Employment & Training Specialist for our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program. The Pre-ETS program assist high school students, ages 14 -22, in their preparation of life after high school through awareness and exploration of future career opportunities.
The Employment & Training Specialist will prepare students for post high school life by providing lessons and activities in self-advocacy, work-based learning, post-secondary counseling, workplace readiness, and job exploration through weekly in-person instruction at various schools.
High School diploma plus experience working with individuals with disabilities or an Associate’s Degree with 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Canva, and Google Drive Documents. Knowledge of IEP's preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and the ability to drive one’s own vehicle during the course of the job. An acceptable Criminal Record Information Report (CORI) is required.
Full-time, 40 hours - Monday thru Friday
$21.00 per hour
