About Attitude Financial Advisors

Attitude Financial Advisors is an independent, growing financial planning and wealth management firm located in Plainview, NY. We believe great financial advice starts with comprehensive planning and strong relationships. Our approach is planning-first, with an emphasis on helping clients make better financial decisions and providing a high-touch, personal client experience.

We’re building a collaborative team where each person plays an important role in serving our clients and helping the firm grow. As we like to say, Attitude Is Everything.

The Role

The Client Relationship Coordinator will serve as a primary administrative and operational resource for our clients and advisors and will play an important role in the overall client experience.

This position includes traditional client service and administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, account administration, meeting preparation, workflow management, CRM maintenance, and coordinating with clients and outside companies to make sure things get done accurately and on time.

In addition, this person will help coordinate our growing calendar of client appreciation events, educational programs, COI events, and community initiatives.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, staying organized, and taking ownership of the details that help a business run well.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests and administrative questions by phone and email.
  • Coordinate client meetings, appointments, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare and organize client paperwork, meeting materials, reports, and other documents.
  • Prepare and process account paperwork, review documentation for accuracy and completeness, and follow requests through to completion.
  • Assist with account openings and maintenance, beneficiary changes, client information updates, withdrawals, contributions, transfers, rollovers, and other service requests.
  • Maintain accurate client records, CRM information, notes, tasks, workflows, and document management systems.
  • Monitor outstanding requests and workflows to make sure commitments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Research and proactively help resolve client service and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with clients, advisors, custodians, investment companies, vendors, and other outside professionals.
  • Assist advisors with the implementation and follow-up of financial planning recommendations and client action items.
  • Coordinate client appreciation events, educational events, COI events, and community initiatives, including venues, invitations, RSVPs, vendors, catering, event materials, attendee communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives involving client communications and events.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Develop a working knowledge of our technology, financial services processes, and broker-dealer and custodian resources.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to other projects and initiatives as the needs of the firm evolve.

What We’re Looking For

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • A genuine commitment to providing a high level of client service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate comfortably and professionally with clients, coworkers, vendors, and outside professionals.
  • Someone who takes ownership of responsibilities and doesn’t need to be continually reminded to follow through.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a growing environment where priorities may change.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while also enjoying being part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technologically comfortable and a quick learner, with the ability to work across multiple systems including CRM, scheduling, document management, Microsoft Office, and financial services platforms.
  • Good judgment and discretion when working with confidential client information.

Experience

2 years of experience in client service, administration, operations, hospitality, professional services, or another client-facing environment is preferred.

Experience in financial services is a plus, but not required. We’re open to someone coming from another high-service professional environment where organization, responsiveness, attention to detail, and client interaction are important.

A college degree is welcomed but not required. Relevant professional experience, skills, and demonstrated ability are more important to us.
