Attindas Hygiene Partners designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products. The company sells adult incontinence and infant diapers, among other products, into the healthcare, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels under brands including Attends, Indas, and Comfees as well as a wide range of private label brands for retailers.

The Process Technician has primary responsibility (ownership) of the asset. As such they are responsible for ensuring that process settings affecting the product quality and product performance attributes are properly maintained through the use of process control “mid-ranging” or “centerline” disciplines. The Process Technician is expected to review the daily reports, process control audits, splice reject audit, quality defect reports, and other data to assist in assuring that the manufacturing equipment is delivering the expected performance goals. The process tech is responsible for training team members through OJT as well as development of supporting documentation to skill assessments, one-point lessons, etc.

The Process Technician has primary responsibility (ownership) of the asset. The Process Technician is expected to review the daily reports, process control audits, splice reject audit, quality defect reports, and other data to assist in assuring that the manufacturing equipment is delivering the expected performance goals. The process tech is responsible for training team members through OJT as well as development of supporting documentation to skill assessments, one-point lessons, etc.
Principle Accountabilities/Key Duties:
- Responsible for enforcing the safety guidelines and ensures safety concerns are properly resolved
- Reviews all quality defects charged to assigned production lines
- Monitors the process control audit systems and process (SOP) procedure paperwork for proper completion
- Monitors the process control targets and standards; ensuring that the equipment is operating at process control set points
- Assists in maintaining the locations for process manuals, SOP’s, change over procedures, troubleshooting guides, etc.
- Responsible for updating or creating SOP’s, changeover procedures, troubleshooting guides, etc.
- Responsible for training team members on assigned platform in areas directly related to process/technical OJT
- Maintains single point contact information located on the equipment; for example: web path routing schematics, adhesive system schematics, set point values on gauges, etc.
- Reviews/evaluates line reports to detect signs of quality and waste results deterioration
- Strives to ensure that the performance results (quality, waste, throughput, etc.), goals and standards are being met on the assigned production lines
- Assists in supporting operating teams with change over and start up activities
- Communicates and trains assigned team on all process control changes
- Ensures all major machine interventions are documented
- Monitors raw material usage – meets BOM targets
- Assists with line planning process such as raw material trials, product trials, process trials, planned equipment downtime events
- Troubleshooting responsibility
- Provide input/training to other resource team members
- Other duties as assigned
Required:
- Demonstrated MT3 Entry skills
- AA Degree, Technical Certification and/or equivalent work experience
- Ability to train team members on all machine platforms for assigned lines
- Ability to document processes and develop training materials
- Work effectively with teams and individuals
- Must be able to properly use and read measuring instruments required for line set-up and quality testing
- Ability to lead and direct teams within the perimeters set by the leadership team
- Flexibility to work on any shift or line in platform
- Hands on mechanical experience, process, and operational experience
- Supervisory experience
Competencies:
- Ability to give and understand detailed instructions.
- Must be able to lift to 40 pounds on a periodic basis.
- Must have full upper body mobility.
- Must have the ability to stoop and maneuver around equipment to perform maintenance duties.
