Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Residential Energy Auditor to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the face of Atticare in the field—helping homeowners save money, stay comfortable, and go green. You’ll conduct home energy assessments, install energy-saving measures, verify work, and provide technical guidance across your assigned territory.
What You’ll Do
- Perform in-home energy audits and re-audits.
- Record inspection results, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates with program staff.
- Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to technical issues in line with program standards.
- Represent Atticare onsite, engaging customers and contractors to encourage program participation.
- Travel throughout a defined territory using a company vehicle.
- Install energy-saving items (LED bulbs, showerheads, faucet aerators, power strips, night lights, etc.).
- Keep company vehicle, inventory, and paperwork organized.
- Work safely in all weather conditions, including attics, basements, and crawlspaces.
- Perform blower door test, CAZ test, along with other test.
What We’re Looking For
- AT LEAST 1 year of industry experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- BPI Certification
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in varied environments (hot/cold, tight spaces).
- HVAC experience is preferred (HVAC license would be a huge plus)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
