Job Purpose:
The Billing and Customer Service Support Specialist provides administrative and customer service support for resident billing, census management, payment processing, and account maintenance. This position serves as an important point of contact for residents and families, helping answer billing questions, resolve concerns, and ensure resident financial information is accurate and up to date.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist residents and families with billing, payment, and account questions.
- Process payments, billing adjustments, refunds, ACH arrangements, and other resident financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate resident billing, census, and account information across organizational systems.
- Monitor outstanding balances and communicate regarding past-due accounts.
- Support long-term care insurance questions and claims.
- Prepare reports and coordinate with Finance, Marketing, Resident Services, and other departments to resolve account needs.
What You’ll Need:
- An associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Three years of experience in accounting, billing, accounts receivable, customer service, or business office administration.
- Familiarity with basic accounting, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and customer service skills.
- Comfort working with billing software, electronic records, and Microsoft Office.
- Professionalism and empathy when assisting residents and families.
- Senior living or healthcare experience is preferred.
When You’ll Work:
This is a full-time, day-shift position working Monday – Friday
