Position Summary
We’re seeking a Director of Operations to serve as a key leader within Attentive’s
growing organization. This individual will report directly to the Chief Operating
Officer and play a pivotal role in enhancing coordination, efficiency, and execution across
all departments.
The Director of Operations will oversee daily production functions—including Client and
Member Onboarding and Management, New Client Setup Execution, Data Processing,
Customer Service, and other core operational teams—to ensure that processes, systems,
and people align to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for every client and
member we serve.
This is a hands-on, experienced leadership-level role based in our Guntersville, AL
headquarters, ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in
dynamic, fast-growing environments and can effectively partner across a matrixed
leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads and develops cross-functional operational teams, fostering a culture of
accountability, collaboration, and excellence through consistent adherence to
Attentive’s operational standards and best practices.
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the operations team, ensuring workflows run
smoothly, priorities are met, and service standards are consistently upheld.
- Drives continuous team development by upskilling talent through coaching,
competency-building, training programs, and clear performance expectations tostrengthen operational expertise and support career growth.
- Collaborates closely with executive and sales leadership team members in a
matrixed environment to enhance coordination, efficiency, and performance across all
departments.
- Oversees production areas including client and member management, customer
service, data processing, and billing operations to support overall client success.
- Ensures new client success from implementation through the full client lifecycle by
aligning operational readiness, monitoring performance, and proactively resolving
issues to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
- Analyzes, refines, and builds operational frameworks, workflows, and metrics to
support scalability and client satisfaction.
- Ensures compliance, quality assurance, and data integrity across all operational
processes.
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline
processes using technology and automation.
- Leads and manages cross-departmental projects from planning through execution,
ensuring clear timelines, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and successful
delivery of organizational initiatives.
- Supports and manages key strategic projects that enhance overall company
performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA
preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8 years of progressive experience in operations, ideally within insurance,
healthcare administration, or employee benefits.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple functional areas (e.g., account
management, payroll, data).
- Strong process-improvement and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
- Experience working in high-growth or fast-scaling environments.
