• Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and catheter care, following strict protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, processing, and basic medical imaging procedures.
• Manage patient care activities such as wound dressing changes, tube feeding, and pain control strategies.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Point Click Care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge planning, case management strategies, and long-term care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on health conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, infectious diseases, and post-acute care requirements.

Skills

• Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including adults, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and nursing best practices across acute care settings such as ICU or emergency rooms.
• Skilled in medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures including venipuncture and sterile processing techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for caregiver interaction, patient education, and team collaboration in fast-paced environments like trauma centers or urgent care clinics.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and long-term care regulations to ensure safe practice standards.
• Certification in CPR, first aid, and other relevant credentials required for immediate patient safety response.
