Credentialing Coordinator – Credentialing Department
The Credentialing Coordinator supports and coordinates credentialing activities under the direction of the Credentialing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering necessary information to maintain database of clinician demographic information.
- Follow up with appropriate staff and/or online databases to retrieve missing information, when necessary.
- Ensure CAQH profiles are complete and attested with all appropriate documents.
- Prepare any required ancillary forms and attachments for provider enrollment application submissions.
- Prepare and submit various provider enrollment applications on appropriate health plan web portals.
- Contacting health plans for follow up on provider enrollment applications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualities and Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize work and do repetitive tasks.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF required.
- Knowledge of provider enrollment and its direct impact on the revenue cycle preferred.
- Working knowledge of EMR systems and SharePoint preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor degree in business management or related health field preferred.
- Behavioral Health/ Applied Behavioral Analysis experience preferred.
