Responsible for developing and implementing complex public relations programs and media relations in support of AT&T’s transformation initiatives as well as communications support and planning for AT&T’s Supply Chain organization. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Support the development and distribution of content such as speeches, scripts, press releases, messaging, social media content, and other materials for external and internal audiences related to the company’s transformation efforts, including the copper transition, and the Supply Chain organization. Support media relations efforts, including engagement with reporters, writing media statements, and conducting in-depth research on related topics. Distill complex technical topics into clear, accessible, and actionable messaging that supports business objectives. Must maintain a working-level understanding of the company’s priorities and macro news environment to ensure effective contributions to communications planning and execution. Collaborate effectively and efficiently with peers at all levels across business units and work on complex problems requiring detailed analysis of unique factors. Serve as a trusted adviser to internal business partners who need to be aware of upcoming stories, issues, and events that may impact the company’s reputation. Develop external communications strategies, working cross-functionally with internal clients and partners. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5 years of related experience. Supervisor: No Desired experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related field. Superior writing, editing, and organizational skills. Media relations experience. Ability to respond in a timely manner to urgent requests and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience communicating with senior leadership to provide counsel and recommendations on key initiatives. Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and be a problem solver.
