What are the responsibilities and job description for the ATG SR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER position at ATSG?
Summary:
The ATSG IT Department is looking to add a Senior Software Developer to our Software Services team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced developer to build and support internal applications critical to ATSG’s operations. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, help shape technical direction, and work alongside a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET
· Participate in code reviews and system design discussions
· Ensure code is efficient, scalable, and well-tested
· Partner with PMs and stakeholders to deliver on-time solutions
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Minimum Qualifications:
· 8 years of hands-on experience in software development
· Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core
· Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
· Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and REST APIs
· Familiar with Git or equivalent source control
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with microservices and Docker
· Familiarity with React or Angular
· Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
