JOB SUMMARY:
Perform start-up functions on selected systems based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Provide analysis of building control system performance at an individual building level. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Provide project-engineering support as required.
Duties And Responsibilities
This position requires consistent physical work at a project jobsite, spending most of your time on your feet. Project jobsites present typical construction and outdoor conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment for safety purposes. Lifting and exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently is required. Must be comfortable climbing a ladder regularly. Small repetitive motions and use of small tools is included.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Control program use, including: Trend Logs, Zones, Alarms, Reports, Back up, Graphics, minor DDC code modifications
- Checkout of DDC (Direct Digital Control) components
- Start-up of Building Control Systems
- Commissioning of Building Control Systems
- Record and update drawings
- Execute field changes/directives
- Troubleshoot component and equipment problems
- Training (Owner and peer)
- Assist Project Engineer with field tasks/coordination
- Panel Construction
- Field Documentation (As Build drawings, Check-out sheets, UL Panel Tags)
- Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Computer hardware and software skills
- Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Excellent interactive skills
- Solid communication skills

- Typical Monday – Friday working hours with flexibility as needed
- Local travel required
- AA degree in applied technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer programming experience
- Building Mechanical system experience
- Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
- Mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting experience
