Responsibilities of the Product Stewardship Specialist II:
- Maintain chemical regulatory compliance in the Americas (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America).
- Respond to customer and manufacturing site regulatory inquiries.
- The Product Stewardship Specialist II will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues.
- Complete regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., TSCA, CEPA, regional Latin American requirements).
- Provide technical support for new product development and hazard classification.
- Monitor evolving regulations and assess their potential impact on business activities.
- Develop SOPs and lead internal training on regulatory matters.
- Strong chemistry background.
- Experience as a product stewardship specialist or advisor is required.
- Strong regulatory background and familiar with regulations - TSCA, CEPA, US EPA, and Latin America Regulations.
- PMN submissions experience.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of GHS classification principles.
- Exposure to SAP EHS or SDS authoring tools.
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams on compliance matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science is required.
