You’ll communicate findings with homeowners in plain language, recommend options, complete preventive maintenance, and follow safety and industry standards every step of the way.Diagnose and resolve performance issues across AC, furnace, heat pump, boiler, ductwork, and mini-split systemsPerform seasonal tune-ups, inspections, and routine maintenanceProvide clear, professional explanations of issues and solutions to clientsAccurately document parts used and work performed on a tabletStay current on best practices and participate in training What You’ll Bring 3 years of residential HVAC service experienceValid driver’s license with a clean recordEPA Type II or EPA Universal certificationSound judgment, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to use tools correctlyComfort working in small attics and tight spacesStrong communication skills, independently and within a team Compensation & Sign-On $33–$42 per hour, depending on experienceUp to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for candidates who currently hold both NATE certification and EPA Universal certification About Duane Blanton For more than 30 years, Duane Blanton Plumbing, Sewer, Heating & Cooling has served Round Lake and the Northern Illinois area.
