Clinical Placement Coordinator
The Clinical Placement Coordinator manages all support services within the Clinical Education Department. With minimal direct supervision, the Clinical Placement Coordinator serves as the primary liaison with affiliated schools and students to arrange and facilitate clinical placements and credentialing. The Clinical Placement Coordinator organizes daily departmental operations and provides information and direct services to clinical educators, leaders, staff, and physicians. The Clinical Placement Coordinator may teach or facilitate in assigned educational activities or events.

Clinical Placement Coordinator
The Clinical Placement Coordinator manages all support services within the Clinical Education Department. With minimal direct supervision, the Clinical Placement Coordinator serves as the primary liaison with affiliated schools and students to arrange and facilitate clinical placements and credentialing. The Clinical Placement Coordinator organizes daily departmental operations and provides information and direct services to clinical educators, leaders, staff, and physicians. The Clinical Placement Coordinator may teach or facilitate in assigned educational activities or events.
- Initiates and maintains strong working relationships with educational programs, faculty and teammates.
- Manages nuances between Atrium Health and educational programs to streamline efficiencies for both entities.
- Acts as a support and troubleshooter by providing guidance to the student and educational program teams to ensure all required tasks are completed timely.
- Manages credentialing requirements, including background and drug screenings, identifying red flags from Advantage Students or other reporting companies, verifying immunizations, conducting orientation, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and maintaining BLS/ACLS certifications. Initiate requests for ID badges through the security team.
- Respond to emails and phone calls from schools, students, and internal AHF departments on a daily basis.
- Bachelor’s degree required or three years experience in lieu of bachelor’s
- Four years of adminstrativel experience
