What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Pharmacist position at Atrium Health Levine Children's?
The Pediatrics Pharmacist provides patient-centered care to patients for the pediatrics patient population. This position must: provide pharmaceutical care to patients to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes; promote cost-effective drug therapy; provide assistance in educating pharmacy students, PGY1 and PGY2 residents; adhere to the general hospital standards to promote cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building; assist with verification of medication orders and distribution of pharmaceutical products; coordinate and participate in the education of pharmacists and other health care professionals; participate in the drug therapy management in emergency situations; assist in developing and implementing treatment protocols in order to improve patient care. Schedule: 1st, 2nd and weekend rotation
