To assist in providing quality patient care in a way that is patient focused, technically appropriate and cost effective. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team to implement patient satisfaction, quality standards and improve outcomes. The Certified Nursing Assistant works under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Certified Nursing Assistant recognizes the needs and behaviors of patients of various age groups and provides care in a manner that is age appropriate.
