As a Social Services Director, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents and families while helping ensure a high quality of life in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate social service programs in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Identify and address residents’ social, emotional, and psychological needs
- Coordinate services to support resident well-being and successful care outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic resident care
- Maintain compliance with nursing home regulations, including MDS procedures and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Licensed Social Worker preferred (not required)
- Minimum of one year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with the psychosocial needs of the elderly, preferred
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and reimbursement guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
