We have an opening for a Managed Care Biller to join our team! This role is supporting our Atrium Centers located in our Mid-State region supporting both Northern MI and WI. This role is required to live in either Michigan or Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for billing, receivable auditing, and collections activities for patient services
• Prepare, process and follow up on claims for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Advantage B, Commercial insurance, private insurance, and worker’s compensation plans
• Tracking all Payor changes
• Comply with tracking and input of authorization logs
• Comply with all documentation/record-keeping policies
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Background in accounts receivable required
• Must have Medicaid experience in MI & WI
• Knowledge of medical billing/ collection practices
• Claim appeal/ resolution experience preferred
• Working knowledge of the reimbursement process preferred
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Matrix preferred
• High attention to detail and organization
