What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, and CNAs) during assigned shifts
- Ensure delivery of quality resident care in accordance with individualized care plans
- Serve as the clinical resource and leader for the nursing team
- Administer medications and oversee treatments as needed
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and clinical standards
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with staffing coordination, assignments, and shift coverage
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
- Current RN or LPN license in good standing
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and make sound clinical decisions
- Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
