As a Transport Driver/CNA, you’ll help residents safely access care while providing hands-on support and compassion every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Split duties 50/50 between floor CNA responsibilities and transport driving
Schedule and/or provide transportation for residents to and from appointments
Assist residents safely during transport and appointments
Drive center van (similar in size to a minivan)
Transport a maximum of two patients at a time
Provide resident care according to an approved Care Plan
Assist with daily activities, personal care, and resident safety
Maintain and respond to resident medical record requests
Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols
Complete required documentation, including vitals
Report any violations of the Residents’ Bill of Rights immediately
What You Bring
Completed CNA course and active state license
Must be 25 years of age or older
Clean driving record
High school diploma or GED
Medical Records experience in a long-term care setting (preferred)
ART certification (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
Positive, can-do attitude and excellent attendance
