Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision, utilizing order picker equipment and inventory management software.
- Basic computer skills inscluding being able to enter quantities and correct weights
- Able to write a decent email in English
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
- Organize stock in designated areas, ensuring proper stocking techniques and adherence to safety standards.
- Assist with shipping logistics by preparing shipments for dispatch, verifying shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers.
- Support warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while following trade compliance and international trade regulations.
- Conduct routine stock counts, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and support inventory management initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols during all activities including the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and accurately processing order fulfillment requests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and logistics operations.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Valid certification for forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification upon hire preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners, pallet jacks, trade compliance tools, and other warehouse equipment.
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Good communication skills combined with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Able to speak in Spanish a plus
