Headquartered in Seattle, ATREG brings over 25 years of expertise advising the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers on strategic transactions. We've facilitated over 60 operational fab transactions worldwide, representing 40% of all semiconductor fab deals since 2000, with a combined market value exceeding $30 billion. Our specialized focus on advanced technology cleanroom manufacturing asset exchanges positions us as trusted advisors in this rapidly evolving industry. 


The Role  


As an Associate at ATREG, you'll be a key player on our boutique team, managing sophisticated real estate and asset transactions from inception to close. This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll build trusted advisor relationships with industry-leading companies, lead business development initiatives, and drive strategic outcomes that shape the semiconductor landscape. 


Location: Seattle, WA (mix of remote work and in-person client meetings). Candidates must reside in Seattle.

Key Responsibilities 


Transaction Management 


  • Manage all transaction details from inception to close, including business development, engagement letters, contract review, and account setup 
  • Lead account management activities: establish NDAs, manage due diligence processes, and compile comprehensive status reports 
  • Partner with ATREG leaders and resource experts to strategically structure transactions 
  • Participate in negotiations and conduct financial/valuation analysis to drive project success 


Marketing & Business Development 


  • Lead global marketing campaigns: create compelling marketing content, conduct market research, and develop targeted prospect lists 
  • Research and identify new market opportunities, notable M&A transactions, and venture funding activities 
  • Market projects directly to potential prospects via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings at client sites and industry events 
  • Identify upsell opportunities and additional business development possibilities for existing clients 


Client Relations & Reporting 

  • Prepare and deliver client presentations and marketing materials 
  • Build and maintain deep knowledge of each client's business, organization, and objectives 
  • Keep the team informed of client news and organizational changes 
  • Present regular status reports to the disposition team, ensuring all client commitments are fulfilled 


Research & Analysis 


  • Conduct company and industry research to support transaction activities 
  • Perform financial modeling and equity research 
  • Manage and maintain data in ATREG's business development systems 
  • Gather proactive market intelligence to enhance service delivery 


Process Development 


  • Develop and refine ATREG processes and work products 
  • Maintain ATREG templates, H Drive management, CRM/Quickbase data management systems 
  • Implement project management processes and best practices 
  • Track all opportunities in CRM and manage pursuits to completion 


What We're Looking For 


Required Qualifications 


  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Business or Finance preferred) 
  • Experience: 4 years of client-facing account management in a collaborative environment, ideally supporting global clients in semiconductor, consulting, real estate, or finance sectors 
  • Transaction Expertise: Proven track record managing complex business transactions in related industries 
  • Financial Acumen: Experience creating financial models and conducting equity research 
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact confidently with C-suite executives 
  • Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated success building and maintaining critical business relationships 
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and CRM database systems 
  • Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship 
  • Professional Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and proven leadership experience

  • Experience tracking emerging trends and their potential application for client engagements 
  • Comfortable conducting business via video conferencing platforms 
  • Intellectually curious with a proactive approach to learning 
  • Cultural awareness and global business perspective 
  • Foreign language proficiency (bonus) 
  • MBA or Masters in Finance (bonus)
