Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential or commercial settings, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and clean for use.
- Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently while adhering to established schedules and standards.
- Carry out carpet cleaning duties as required, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist in kitchen duties such as cooking or meal preparation when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any specific requests or concerns from clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques and use of cleaning chemicals is essential.
- Experience with custodial duties will be advantageous.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team is required.
