Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive floor cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve the durability and appearance of various flooring surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, lobbies, hallways, and other common areas through routine janitorial practices.
- Utilize specialized equipment for environmental services, ensuring all cleaning tools are operated safely and maintained properly.
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisory staff for immediate resolution.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services, with a strong focus on floor care techniques such as buffing and carpet cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to janitorial work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating cleaning machinery.
