Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a VIP Sr. Travel Consultant, based in Houston, TX, with flexibility for work-from-home opportunities. The VIP Sr. Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing high-touch travel arrangements for VIP clients, addressing their unique needs with a focus on exceptional service. Daily tasks include flight, hotel, and ground transportation bookings, tailoring itineraries, providing advice on travel policies, handling last-minute changes, ensuring compliance with corporate travel policies, and maintaining effective communication with VIP clients and Executive Assistants. The consultant will also liaise with vendors and offer proactive solutions to optimize travel experiences.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Travel Booking, including flight, hotels, and ground transportation arrangements, with knowledge of GDS systems.
- Strong problem-solving, Customer Service, and Client Relationship Management skills, particularly for VIP clientele.
- Experience with Travel Policies, Compliance Standards, and developing customized travel programs.
- Proficiency in multitasking, organizational skills, and attention to detail required for managing complex itineraries.
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and provide support during flexible working hours. Working onsite is required Monday - Thursday for the first month of training. After the first month the role will be a remote position with the exception of quarterly meetings and special projects onsite at the client's Houston office.
- Prior experience with corporate and VIP travel management is required.
- Familiarity with global travel trends and industry-specific requirements is required.
