Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs.
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control, ordering, and stocking to ensure product availability.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills to advise customers on vehicle maintenance and repair options.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems while handling cash, credit, and electronic payments with professionalism.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and other inventory management tools.
- Support automotive repair and dealership operations by providing technical guidance on vehicle systems and parts compatibility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive parts sales or retail sales within a dealership or auto parts store.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and automotive repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, inventory management software, POS systems, and CMMS tools.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and inventory control efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with outstanding phone etiquette and client communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories along with retail math skills for accurate pricing and transaction handling.
