Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client specifications
- Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Create detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize ideas clearly
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents and drawings utilizing CAD tools like Bluebeam and Drafting standards for accurate implementation
- Oversee procurement processes including lighting sales, furniture selection, and material sourcing while maintaining budget controls
- Conduct site visits during renovation and remodeling phases to monitor progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations
- Manage contracts and coordinate with construction teams to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish
Requirements
- Proven experience in interior design project management with a portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery in renovation or remodeling environments
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and CAD drafting tools
- Strong understanding of color theory, lighting design principles, construction processes, and contract management
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of budgeting practices and experience in sales related to lighting or interior furnishings is a plus
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams
