Role Description: This is a full-time sales role responsible for driving new business and strengthening existing relationships in the construction industry. The Sales rep will identify and qualify prospective clients and investors, conduct outreach, manage a sales pipeline, and participate in presentations or virtual meetings that explain ATP’s services and project opportunities.
The role can transition to a closer position with higher commissions, which includes more involvement in preparing proposals and coordinating with internal teams on pricing and project feasibility. This role also includes tasks such as tracking performance metrics, maintaining accurate lead records, and providing regular sales forecast insights to leadership. Collaboration with marketing, development, and construction teams is essential for refining messaging, supporting campaigns, and ensuring a consistent client experience from first contact through onboarding. This is more than a sales job, and depending on the individual, it could be something bigger.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales. (Ideally, in real estate development, construction, or related industries.)
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Ability to understand and communicate the company services, like construction, project timelines, and financial information, to clients and investors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based, long-term relationships remotely.
- Comfort with CRM systems, virtual meeting tools, and basic sales analytics to track activity, report results, and optimize performance.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
