C&C Market Stocker (2)

General Summary

C&C Market is looking for 2 full-time stockers. Stockers are focused on stocking incoming inventory. They are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. They stock shelves, build displays, assist in unload trucks, organize the back room and clean store areas as required. They also greet and assist customers in locating products in the store.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Stockers are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance
• They stock shelves, order product, build displays, bag groceries for customers, unload trucks, organize the back room and clean store areas as required
• They will greet and assist customers in locating products in the store
• Stockers will also operate computerized cash register systems to weigh, scan, and process transactions
• They must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers

Position Requirements

• Must wear required store uniform.
• Available weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per day).
• Able to lift 50lbs, bend, carry, and push various sized items.
• Must be able to reach above the shoulder and below the waste.
• Smoke-free environment that will be primarily indoor work but at times may be exposed to heat/cool outdoor temperatures as well as when entering coolers.
• Fast-paced environment
