Role Overview

At Atos, we are looking for a skilled and innovative Java Developer with strong expertise in React.js, API Development & Integration, and exposure to AI-powered development tools and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications while leveraging modern AI technologies to enhance development efficiency and business outcomes.

The candidate should possess strong backend development expertise using Java technologies, hands-on experience building modern front-end applications with React, and the ability to integrate enterprise systems through secure and scalable APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs, Microservices, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js and modern front-end frameworks.
• Integrate AI services and intelligent automation features into enterprise applications.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and Generative AI platforms to improve productivity and code quality.
• Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development and production environments.

Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

Frontend Development

• Strong experience with React.js
• JavaScript (ES6 ), TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Material UI
• State management libraries (Redux, Context API)

API & Integration

• Strong hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• API Security (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)
• Experience with API gateways and integration frameworks
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and third-party integrations

Database & Cloud

• SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Azure, AWS, or GCP exposure
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge preferred

AI & Emerging Technology Exposure

• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI-assisted development platforms.
• Understanding of Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and AI-based automation.
• Exposure to integrating AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, or other AI APIs.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to accelerate software development, testing, and documentation activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
