Position Overview
Atos is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mainframe Developer with strong Production Support experience to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical mainframe applications, ensuring system stability, resolving production incidents, and implementing enhancements to meet business requirements.
The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Mainframe technologies, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and experience supporting mission-critical applications in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 Production Support for Mainframe applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within established SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Develop, test, and deploy code changes and enhancements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, application owners, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents.
- Analyze batch failures, online transaction issues, and system performance problems.
- Support release management, code migrations, and production deployments.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and critical incident management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Ensure compliance with change management and ITIL processes.
