D365 (Finance & Operations) – SCM Functional Consultant (Manufacturing, Warehousing & Logistics | Support / AMS) Role Overview Senior D365 Finance & Operations SCM Functional Consultant for a long term support engagement in a regulated Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment. The role focuses on functional support, process stabilization, and continuous improvement across manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics processes typical of a CDMO operating under GxP / GMP regulations, within a global support model.
Location requirement This role must be based in the United States (US).

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 functional support for SCM incidents and recurring issues.
- Perform functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to manufacturing, inventory, and logistics.
- Support manufacturing operations, including
- Batch based production
- BOM / formula management
- Production orders and execution
- Support warehouse and inventory management, including
- Raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Lot and batch tracking
- Inventory status and physical inventory
- Support logistics and distribution, including inbound, outbound, and inter site transfers.
- Validate Change Requests and minor enhancements from an SCM functional perspective.
- Ensure alignment with GxP / GMP compliance and controlled change processes.
- Maintain functional documentation and contribute to incident reduction year over year (Y2Y).
- Act as a trusted functional advisor for US manufacturing and supply chain users.
- 5 years supporting D365 F&O SCM in AMS / support roles.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics in regulated environments.
- Experience in pharmaceutical / life sciences manufacturing (batch, lot controlled).
- Familiarity with GxP / GMP processes.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
