Job Details
Title: Hi-Lo Driver
Department: Allison Department
Reports to: Allison Department Supervisor
Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
Job Summary/Objective of Job
The Allison Department Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for keeping product organized and the flow of production running efficiently.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Transport cores to production team to be disassembled
- Transport completed units to Dyno for testing
- Scan finished goods to shelving bin locations
- Prepare finished goods to be shipped and transport to Shipping Dept
- Unload vendor deliveries
- Drive floor sweeper throughout facility
- Empty scrap bins, cardboard, and trash hopper daily
- Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Hi-lo driving experience preferred.
- Hi-Lo Certification, or willing to obtain.
- Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate/prioritize/Organize.
- Knowledge of safe work practices required in the department.
- Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced environment.
