Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging ELA lesson plans focused on reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and vocabulary aligned with middle school standards.
- Teach a variety of literary genres, guiding students in literary analysis, critical thinking, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages discussion, collaboration, and a love for literature and writing.
- Assess student progress through essays, projects, tests, and presentations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those in special education.
- Incorporate strategies to support standardized test preparation in reading and writing.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and share instructional best practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with ELA education trends.

Requirements
