Conduct of Operations Mentor Support
The Program is intended to seek out, share, and support opportunities for process improvements, conduct appropriate assessments, mentor personnel, provide training, performance improvements, corrective action management tools such as (Integrated Contractor Assurance System) or (iCAS) and associated Management Observations and Action Requests, disseminate the principles of Human Performance Improvement (HPI) and provide measurable reduction of occurrence of negative events.
The program will consist of part time support including a lead mentor, Conduct of operations mentor, D4 end state mentors, a Soil and Groundwater mentor, Waste Projects and Operations mentor and a Radiological Control mentor. Mentor positions may require medical qualification/surveillance for such programs may include Respirator Use, Noise, Radiological Worker II, Heat Stress, HAZWOPER, and Beryllium.
Qualifications for Field Mentors or for a Lead Mentor
BA/BS in related field, plus 10 years of direct related experience or combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance, operations, or radiological control. Minimum 5 years in a leadership/management role that includes elements of leadership and/or mentoring. 10 years of experience at a DOE facility or other similar operation such as the military or the commercial nuclear industry.
Pay: $75.00 - $200.00 per hour
