Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Toast pos to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and retail sales transactions
- Provide friendly, attentive service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and answering customer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food handling stations
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support quick service delivery
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Process cash transactions accurately while balancing register at shift end
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments
- Freshers can also apply, training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and transaction processing
- Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
