Responsibilities
- Owning the full processing pipeline from lock to funding
- Maintaining a 95% clean submission rate on initial files to underwriting
- Verifying completeness and analyzing income, credit, and assets on every loan
- Sending clear, specific documentation requests when something is missing. No guesswork. No back-and-forth.
- Translating underwriting conditions into language borrowers actually understand
- Maintaining a two-touch maximum to Clear-to-Close
- Collaborating with the team to tighten checklists, workflows, and internal standards
- Being the last line of quality control before a file moves forward
Requirements
- A processor with 3 years of processing or underwriting experience
- Someone with strong knowledge of investor guidelines across multiple loan programs
- Experienced working in a broker environment
- Detail-obsessed and take personal pride in clean, accurate files
- A clear communicator who keeps loan officers, clients, and partners in the loop
- Efficient by nature and treat speed and accuracy as the same standard
- Someone who solves problems before they become problems
- A team player who raises the bar for everyone around you
