Duties
- Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, debits & credits, and cash management with precision and efficiency
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
- Promote financial products and services through upselling and cross-selling to meet client needs and enhance their banking experience
- Conduct loan origination activities such as processing loan applications and supporting the loan approval process
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols
- Manage cash handling duties accurately using basic math skills and 10 key typing to balance cash drawers at shift end
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions, customer interactions, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail math, cashiering, or financial services is preferred but not required; strong basic math skills are essential
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships effectively
- Knowledge of banking operations including cash handling, debits & credits, and cash management procedures
- Familiarity with financial software systems used for transaction processing and record keeping
- Ability to perform detailed tasks such as loan processing, fraud detection, and relationship management with accuracy
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain products, answer questions, and provide guidance on banking services
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in financial sales or customer relationship management is a plus
