ATMOSPHERE is a unique hospitality and entertainment destination in downtown Chattanooga, combining craft cocktails, music, art, and immersive experiences in a vibrant, high-energy environment.

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable Barback / Bartender Support team member who is passionate about hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in supporting a successful team, and is interested in developing their knowledge of craft cocktails with the opportunity to grow into a bartending role at ATMOSPHERE.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with opening, preparing, and maintaining the bar throughout service.
• Ensure all bar stations are consistently stocked with liquor, mixers, syrups, juices, garnishes, glassware, and other essential supplies.
• Replenish ice, change beer kegs, and restock inventory and service materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment throughout each shift.
• Support bartenders during high-volume service to ensure timely preparation and delivery of beverages.
• Assist with glassware collection, cleaning, and maintaining guest-facing areas.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, management, and security to support a seamless guest experience.
• Promptly address spills, broken glass, and other operational needs while maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist with closing procedures, cleaning, restocking, and preparing the bar for the following shift.

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mentality.
• Dependable, punctual, and proactive in identifying what needs to be done.
• Willingness to learn about spirits, craft cocktails, and professional bar operations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with bar service, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
