Atmosic Technologies is looking for a digital design engineer who is passionate about delivering differentiated low-power wireless connectivity solutions. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of digital design and associated flows and to actively contribute in multiple subdisciplines. Job title and responsibilities commensurate with experience.
Salary: $120k - $205k
Position: Full-time & in-person (San Jose, California)
Responsibilities:
● Design digital logic to create low-power communications system-on-a-chip solutions
● Develop digital logic from initial concept through synthesized RTL
● Debug digital logic based on both internal discovery and real world feedback
● Create specifications from high-level requirements to achieve desired system performance
● Implement design using Verilog, System Verilog, and automation scripts
● Develop initial verification plan and then verify it with assistance from AI tools
● Implement emulation on a FPGA platform
● Contribute to continuous improvement of digital flows including synthesis, place-and-route, timing, and physical verification. Work closely with in-house technology specialists in these areas.
Requirements:
● Strong understanding of digital design
● Proven record of innovation and collaboration
● Established track record of seeing one or more designs from inception to physical realization
● Familiar with physical design flows including synthesis, LEC, timing, power analysis, PNR, and ECO
● BSEE, MSEE preferred. Willing to consider applicants with no professional experience.
Nice to Have:
● Proficiency in digital low power implementation, including strong understanding of CPF and/or UPF
● Knowledge of Bluetooth 5 at the protocol level
