Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and other materials are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, use of an industrial washing machine and dryer, folding linens, keeping laundry room organized and clean and possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, and dryers, efficiently and safely
- Sort linens and towels
- Perform stain removal as needed to ensure quality results
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure proper storage of clean linens
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and equipment
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any maintenance needs
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and supplies
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, and drying linens and towels
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow safety procedures
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
- Experience in cleaning or hospitality industries is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
