What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Clerk position at Atlas Valley Purveyors?

Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Provide excellent customer service.
Prepare, package and stock produce products for customers.
Maintain product integrity in produce area, meeting or exceeding health department standards.
Rotate inventory appropriately, FIFO.
Answer customer’s questions regarding products, policies and services that AVP provides.
Maintain clean and orderly department, walk-in etc.
Request information or assistance using the PA system.
Follow produce rules and regulations.
Help to resolve customer’s complaints.
Maintain proper communication with managers and fellow co-workers.
Cross-train to floor sales and cashier.
